Synopsis:
In his one-man show, James Lecesne goes from New York mama’s boy to high-class British widow, to mid-American mother and back again. One of the show’s characters is Trevor, a gay 13-year-old boy who makes an attempt to take his life after being rejected by friends because of his sexuality. The character inspired the creation of The Trevor Project, the leading national organization focused on crisis and suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.

The Trevor Project is determined to end suicide among LGBTQ youth by providing life-saving and life-affirming resources including its nationwide, 24/7 crisis intervention lifeline, digital community and advocacy/educational programs that create a safe, supportive and positive environment for everyone.
